We fly at sunrise every day of the week (weather permitting). Join us for tea or coffee, and watch the crew prepare the balloon for flight.. The flights last approximately an hour and on landing, wherever that may be, Champaign and / or orange juice is served while the crew pack away the balloon. A retrieval vehicle will return you to the venue for breakfast, where your pilot will award you with a commemorative certificate.

Air to Air Africa is based in the Cradle of Humankind, near Lanseria Airport (about 35km north-west of Johannesburg. This area is a World Heritage Site which includes Game & Nature reserves, on the banks of the Crocodile River.

For large groups we can fly from a site of your choosing, if at all suitable be it your backyard or a field local to you.

Passengers don't have to be physically fit, but landings can sometimes be bumpy.
